Intervention Systems
MAPS uses a tiered model for instruction and intervention.
Tier 1: ALL students have access to grade-level standards. This instruction is provided by our Classroom Teachers.
Tier 2: For students who need additional time and support to master the grade-level standards, MAPS provides Tier 2 intervention in addition to Tier 1 instruction. This may be provided by our Classroom Teachers, Academic Specialists and/or Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals.
Tier 3: For students who need intensive remediation on below grade-level standards and skills, Tier 3 intervention is provided in addition to Tier 1 and Tier 2. This may be provided by our Classroom Teachers, Interventionists, and/or Academic Specialists.
