On Monday, the lady Chippewas competed at the Lady Tulleymore Invitational
hosted by Big Rapids. Tulleymore has been named one of the top 100 courses
in the United States. The course is beautiful and it was a great
opportunity for the girls to keep preparing for the Regional tournament
which is just two weeks away. The girls continue to cut strokes off of
their team score. They finished 6th out of a 12 team field. Leading the
Chippewas was Sara Danison with a 100 which included 6 pars, Kendal
Waligorski with a 103 which included 7 pars, Kate Somsel with a 113 and
Oliva Vasquez with a 114. Not factoring into the team total was Sarah
Huber with a season best score. The ladies are at home on Tuesday at the
Country Club for a league match.
