MAPS’ very FIRST Robotics Team went to their very first competition this weekend, held at St.Joseph High School, St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, Michigan, from March 5-7, 2020.

According to Teacher/Robotics Team Coach Troy Nezki, “the Team and their “Bot” (8342) made the elimination round, which very few rookie teams ever make . . . AND . . . they made it as an 8-seed into the Quarter-Finals Round. This is a really great accomplishment for our Team in a region full of experienced, 25-year-old teams.” The competition was televised on ESPN 3.

If you see these Robotic Team Students around, say CONGRATULATIONS!
