Avery Kiefer, 2017 MHS graduate, will perform in Central Michigan University’s traveling summer theater company.
The company will perform the comedies “A Fox on the Fairway” and “California Suite” in three locations this summer. Kiefer plays the role of Dickie in “A Fox on the Fairway” and Billy, Sidney and Stu in “California Suite.”
Set at a private country club, “A Fox on the Fairway” features romance, competition and man’s love affair with golf. Similarly, “California Suite” is a hilarious look at marriage, anxiety and adulthood as four couples separately inhabit a Beverly Hills hotel suite.
Performances for “A Fox on the Fairway” are 7:30 p.m. June 21 and 2 p.m. June 23 at the Bush Theatre, July 6 at the Beaver Island Community Center with time to be announced, and 7:30 p.m. July 13 at the Playhouse at White Lake. Performances for “California Suite” are 7:30 p.m. June 20 and 22 at the Bush Theatre, July 5 at the Beaver Island Community Center with time to be announced, and 7:30 p.m. July 12 at the Playhouse at White Lake.
