The Manistee forensics team traveled to our State Forensics tournament this Friday and Saturday at Oakland University in Auburn Hills. After competing in preliminary rounds on Friday and Saturday, we had students break into the semifinal round and then the final round! The team did a great job and made me incredibly proud! 2nd Place Extemporaneous Speaking – Haley Johnson (State Finalist)
4th Place Poetry Interpretation – Macie Goodspeed (State Finalist)
11th Place Prose Interpretation – Kyle Carter (State Semifinalist)
17th Place Dramatic Interpretation – Lauren Hanna
21st Place Poetry Interpretation – Kyla White
As a team – with only 5 students – we placed 9th in Class B Schools.
