Local student performs in CMU’s “In the Next Room”
Avery Kiefer (MHS Class of '18) plays the role of Leo Irving in Central Michigan University’s production of “In the Next Room, or the vibrator play.”
“In the Next Room” is a story set in the 1880s that follows a young doctor, his wife and his patients as he develops a new type of therapy. The play is a funny, provocative story characterized by mature sensibility and based on historical facts.
The production takes place at 7:30 p.m. on March 20, 21, 22 and 23 and 2 p.m. March 24 in Bush Theatre. Tickets are available at CMU’s Ticket Central.
Avery Kiefer is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in acting and directing at CMU. He is the son of Nate and Sheila Kiefer of Manistee.
