Colin Edmondson from the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Program
Congratulations to our CTE students for seeking opportunities to learn about their chosen career fields and getting a jump start on the next steps in their journey!
Today we spoke with Colin Edmondson, who is in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Program.

In culinary, the students generally learn kitchen practices and how to make food, along with restaurant curating and management lessons. Also, those in the culinary program with a good track record can partake in Prostart, which is a culinary based competition where teams from all over Michigan compete to make food, make the best restaurant concept, or make the best table setting etc.

Students of CTE, please make sure to email Lbergeman@manistee.org to be featured in our CTE program shoutout.

Here are the current CTE fields of study: Agriscience, Allied Health, Auto, Construction Trades, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Digital Media, Educator Academy, Graphic Arts, Health Occupations, IT Networking, Mechatronics, and Welding.
