The Chippewa boys and girls cross-country teams took part in the first Jamboree of the season Tuesday afternoon in Muskegon, with the HS boys taking 2nd and the HS girls finishing 3rd.
The boys, who missed first place by only 2 points, were led by overall winner Caiden Cudney in 17:30. Trevor Adamczak was 6th, Jacob Lindeman was 9th, and Greyson & Elliot Hoeflinger and Austen Halcome were 14th, 15th, and 16th respectively.
The girls were led by Ceci Postma's 5th place finish time of 20:33. Anna Huizinga was right behind in 7th, and Allie Thomas took 18th.
