Today around 9:30am Manistee Middle/High School was contacted by Manistee City Police and advised to enter Secure Mode based on information received from the LRBOI Tribal Police. After further investigation and review it was determined there was no longer concern for a credible threat and the building resumed regular operation procedure before 10:30am. Such real-time cooperation and communication between our local law enforcement agencies is appreciated and is invaluable for us to have a precautionary response to information.
